Afrigetics Botanicals
Our brief was to create a “serious” identity to pitch the company as a serious contended in the nutraceutical industry. Indigenous African botanical (herbal) extracts are often associated with small-scale herbalists, relying on a mixture of folk-lore and handed down tradition to ply their trade. By contrast, our client operates a world-class service, exporting extracts to some of the world’s largest manufacturers of pharmaceutical medicines. Rigorous scientific research and sustainable harvesting methods underpin their work. The identity and web-presence we created draws on actual ingredients as a central image, yet renders it in a mathematically symmetrical and simplified form. Lower case sans-serif typography lend to creating a sense of accessibility, yet professionalism.
