Henry White’s
When Carl was a boy his mom used to tell the story about a dinner party in the old Manor House in what is now Fancourt, in which Henry Fancourt White and his entire party died of mushroom poisoning (servants and all). [The neighbouring farm belonged to Carl’s great great grandfather – one of the farms adjacent to Fancourt is still in the family (has been since 1726].
So, when creating print collateral for this venue of fine dining, we found ourselves lingering a little longer on creating just the right atmosphere. Although the food and service is excellent, we were more interested in creating a sense of place, an experience, through the art direction and styling of photographs to capture the restaurant’s special appeal.
