While the bull is a symbol of power and wealth in many cultures, this is particularly true in African culture. We were approached to roll out the brand once the initial symbol had been conceptualised. While it satisfies the creative juices to conceive an identity from scratch, often we are approached either to tweak an existing identity or to take it to the next level through a comprehensive brand roll-out. In such an instance, it is important to distill the original design intention, while seeking to give visual expression to the aspirations of those now driving the organisation’s marketing objectives. In this case, roll-out included creation of a Corporate Identity guideline, stationery design and production management (paper, foils, embosses, etc) and a web-presence, complete with content generation, live investment feeds and video content sourcing.
